Passing through Saint-Élix
A circular starting from the Saramon leisure centre to discover the gentle slopes of the Gimone, the village of Saint-Élix and a sculpture by a Japanese artist representing the wind (Kazé in Japanese).

Chemin du Yané - Long loop
A beautiful loop with very pleasant paths on the edge of the forest. Beautiful panoramic views await you, including a superb view of the village of Simorre and its fortified church. On the circuit, you will find a sculpture by Japanese artist Teruhisa symbolising the roof.
Large loop of Faget-Abbatial
At the start, you can admire the Cistercian church of Saint-Sauveur and, higher up, the abbey house (private property). The rest of the walk is a classic country hike where you will discover the hillsides of the Gers, the Lauze valley, the unmissable duck farm and, if you are lucky, three little donkeys will come to say hello. This route is very well signposted (yellow).
Playing truant around Polastron
In a landscape of woods and meadows where deer reign supreme, attentive and silent walkers will discover the school of nature.In Polastron, Arrats and Saves, in the south-east of the Gers, you will discover panoramic views, magnificent landscapes and the village itself. In Samatan, there is a market every Monday morning.
The Hills Walk in Sauveterre
This is a family-friendly walk where you gradually discover a 360° panorama of the Gers hills and the Pyrenees.
The orientation point in Sauveterre offers a magical view, with the Save valley in the foreground and the Pyrenees mountain range in the background.

The Saint-Guiraud Trail
At the start of this route, you will have a beautiful view of the Arrats valley, a narrow valley bordered by hillsides, themselves composed of ridges and valleys. This route takes you to Saint-Guiraud, a village annexed to Castelnau in 1821. On your return to the village, you will discover magnificent panoramic views of the countryside, the Pyrenees mountain range and neighbouring villages from the ridge.
The Hourontan path
At a place called Le Chalet, you will discover an exceptional panorama of the Pyrenees and the village. The Bois de la Paguère is a haven of coolness on summer days. Further on, before reaching the Domaine des Claux, the Bois de Labesse and the valley you will walk along are also places of beauty and serenity. A quick visit to Castelnau-Barbarens is a must before you leave.

A beautiful hike through the hillsides and landscapes of the Gers. A route that alternates between paths, carriageways and trails. Beautiful panoramic views of the Pyrenees are available on clear days.
