The proposed route climbs up the physically demanding Pas de Pabro, after a possible visit to the cave of the same name, then passes above the Pas des Voûtes and La Charmate, with a visit to the Mesolithic site, to reach the Pas de l'Allier, from where the descent back down is more even.
