Park in Pont-en-Royans and walk to the Pont Picard, the starting point of the hike.
(S/E) With your back to the bridge, turn right onto Rue du Merle, then follow the signs and the yellow-green trail marking the direction of the Cascade Blanche. Pass under a power line and go past the hamlet of Bernissart.
(1) Once you reach a paved road, look for the path that runs along the fence between the field and this fence, to the right of a gate blocking access to a path in the hairpin bend.
When you reach the Cascade Blanche, return to the crossroads.
(1) Continue left on the paved road to join the Grand Tour du Vercors road (D518).
(2) Take the D518 on the left, cross the bridge over the Vernaison and follow the GTV Vercors for about 100 metres. Be careful, this is a very busy road
(3) After a road on the right, under the power lines, take the path on the left that cuts across the hairpin bend, then continue left on the road.
(4) About 500 metres after joining the D518, leave the departmental road and take theGR®9on the left (white and red markings).
(5) Follow thisGR® trail, passing the sign for La Côte.
(6) Pass Torpédo and turn left to reach the sign for La Croix.
(7) At this sign, leave theGR®9on your right and continue straight ahead on Avenue du Vercors. After about 350 metres, go through the first tunnel of Les Petits Goulets. Turn on your lights so that motorists can see you easily, as the tunnels are not lit. Be very careful when going through the tunnels
(8) About 200m after the fourth and last tunnel, take the small tarmac road that descends to the left and follow it until you reach the Pont de la Vernaison sign.
(9) At the bridge, take the dirt track on the left that runs alongside the river to the Cascade Verte.
(10) Retrace your steps back to the bridge.
(9) Cross the river and go up the small paved road on the left until you reach the La Blache property. At the gate, turn onto a grassy path on the right. Stay on this path, following the faint yellow-green markings, until you reach the Les Guilles sign.
(11) Take the hairpin bend to the left towards Col de Méselier.
(12) At the sign, turn left towards Pont-en-Royans. Pass the bus shelter to reach a dirt track that passes under a power line and follow the signs back to Pont Picard (S/E).
