Around the Alevoux free flight site

You can start at the beginning of the path leading to the free flight site. You can park on the right as you go up the hairpin bend on the Route du Faz.

(S/E) Take the path that leads to the free flight site at the hairpin bend.

(1) At the intersection, continue straight ahead on the path. Just after L'Alevoux, take the path slightly to the left until you reach the valley.

(2) Cross the Ruzand stream, then continue above it.

(3) At Les Godarts, turn right at the hairpin bend, then stay on this path.

(4) At Bellonière, continue straight ahead on the track. Pass Les Charmettes, then continue south-southwest.

(5) At Plan du Faz, follow the road to the right (D31), descending carefully (in some places it is possible to walk on the hard shoulder) to the car park (S/E).

The last part is on the road to Le Faz. Take care on this road.

If paragliders are taking off, you can watch them discreetly.
