Start: The starting point is car park P1 on Weinbrennerstraße in Bad Rappenau.
(S/E) From here, head towards the regional road (L 530). Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue straight ahead along the paved farm track, which leads towards the forest.
(1) At the first junction, turn right and continue along this path. On the way, cross the road (K 2120).
(2) Then take the first tarmac path branching off to the left. Follow this paved path down into the valley.
(3) In the valley, turn right at the junction, then turn left after 100 metres and continue along the track leading towards the municipal woodland. At the next junction, turn right and walk along the edge of the woodland.
(4) At Waldeck, where the woodland recedes on the right, turn right onto the forest track leading into the woods. Stay on this main gravel path at all times. Along the way, you’ll reach the ‘Steinerner Tisch’ with its shelter.
(5) The path winds its way through the forest.
(6) Once you’ve left the woods, cross the nearby wooden bridge over the bypass.
(7) Walk slightly downhill and turn right at the next junction. Stay on this paved farm track, which runs parallel to the bypass, until the end.
(8) Finally, cross the road, turn right onto Wimpfener Straße and walk along it until you reach Weinbrenner Straße, where you turn left and walk back to the starting point. (S/E)
