Starting in Hessigheim, the tour leads along narrow paths up into the Felsengärten and offers views across the Neckar to the medieval town church of Besigheim. Following quiet country lanes, you reach the historic old town, which, with its traditional half-timbered houses and cosy alleyways, invites you to linger. On the banks of the Neckar, through tranquil vineyards, the route takes you past the Salenkanzel back to the starting point.

This walk takes you through the twin towns of Bietigheim-Bissingen.
The longest left-bank tributary of the Neckar takes centre stage – experience the Enz Valley in Bietigheim and Bissingen.
Here, the Enz flows through picturesque meadow valleys, passes beneath the arches of the majestic Enz Viaduct and runs alongside the half-timbered buildings of Bietigheim’s old town.
Rafting has left its mark, and the panoramic trail above Untermberg and the hills near Schellenhof offer some of the finest views.
