Park in the market hall square.
(S/E) With your back to the market hall, walk down Espace des Centenaires towards École René Cassin, keeping to the right. Turn left, walk past the tennis courts and take Chemin de la Chêneraie on the left.
Walk along the right-hand side of the nursing home.
(1) At the first crossroads, turn left to return to the village. Turn right onto Avenue de Versaille, then left onto Rue du Carrelot and continue until you reach the intersection with Avenue de Toulouse, the D23.
(2) Turn right, then after 130 metres turn left onto Rue de la Barrère.
Pass between the original dovecote and the small pond to reach the bridge over the Canal de Saint-Martory and the wide farm track of La Hontouard.
(3) Follow it to the equestrian centre, turn left onto the path towards the centre and walk along the left side of the buildings to reach the Moulin de la Parade and the dirt track on the left.
(4) Follow it between the mill stream on the right and the small ponds on the left. Walk along the fence made of railway sleepers, continue on this path which goes up towards the village via Rue des Canelettes and continue straight on to Rue des Bourdettes.
(5) Turn right to join the D53 road to Saint-Clar.
Please note that this is a busy road with little grass verge.
Turn right, go around the hairpin bend and 120 m further on, you will find a dirt track on the left leading down towards the woods.
(6) In the woods, follow the yellow "Chemin du Désert" markings. At a clearly marked fork, follow the right-hand path (marking hidden on a tree trunk) and pass the picnic area. Follow the dirt track to the woods car park. Head towards the D43, Route de Rieumes, taking care as this is a busy road, and turn right.
Walk on the left-hand side of the road; very soon, a wider verge will make it easier to walk.
At the first dirt track, turn left, cross the bridge over the Canal de Saint-Martory, and reach the D23 road to Bérat ( busy road, take care) .
Turn left, walk on the left-hand side of the road, then at the entrance to Lherm, take the pavement on the right.
(7) At the central traffic island, continue along the path on the right. At the dirt track on the left, go down past the children's playground, going around the ponds that run alongside Rue du Pré Cahuzac.
(8) Turn left onto Avenue des Pyrénées to return to the starting point (S/E).
A very pleasant hike, especially the sections through the stud farms and woods. Yellow markings are regularly visible.
