Hohneck - Batteriekopf
Circular starting from the bottom of Hohneck (Paquis des Fées) which descends to Lac de Schiessrothried then Lac de Fischboedle, climbs back up via Kerbholz, crosses the peaks of Rainkopf, Rothenbachkopf and Batteriekopf. Trilogy south of Hohneck

Col de la Schlucht – Le Grand Ballon: the Sentier des Crêtes
A very beautiful hike, taking in some remarkable sights: the Martinswand rocks, the summit of the Hohneck, the summit of the Kastelberg and the Grand Ballon (with the ‘Boule’ at the summit).
Kolben Chapel – Rainkopf – Rothenbachkopf route
This beautiful, not overly long hike follows trails and offers, from the ascent to the ridge towards Rainkopf and then Rothenbachkopf, a panoramic view of the Vosges and, weather permitting, even the Bernese Alps.
Exploring the Rothenbachkopf
One of the most beautiful walks in the Hautes Chaumes! This walk will take you through magnificent landscapes.
The Rothenbachkopf (1,316 m), also known as the ‘Matterhorn of the Vosges’, has a steep summit that contrasts with the rounded shapes of the Ballons.
