(S/E) Leave the RER station via the north exit and turn left onto Voie Lamarque (GR® 14A). Cross Rue Faidherbe and continue along Voie Lamarque until you reach Place Jean Mermoz.
(1) Cross the tree-lined square, then Chemin de Meaux, to rejoin Voie Lamarque under the trees. Walk past École Paul Doumer on your left and continue to Rue des Loges d'Avron. Continue straight ahead into Parc des Coteaux d'Avron via the Cahouettes entrance.
(2) Follow Chemin de Montgomery, then turn right onto Traversée des Carrières (you are still following theGR®14A). Go up to the left via Allée des Frênes, which veers left at the top. Do not leave the park yet, but turn left to reach the park's large meadow. Walk around the meadow, passing in front of the vegetable garden, with a panoramic view of the southern suburbs.
(3) Continue north, leave the park via the north gate on Avenue Cornelis and turn right. Turn left onto Avenue Louise, leaving theGR®14A, then right onto Avenue des Demoiselles, passing under the water tower. Continue to the Rond-Point des Demoiselles roundabout. Go around the roundabout and follow Avenue Daniel Perdrigé. Stop to take a look around the small, pretty garden (Square du Château d'Eau) at the corner of Avenue de l'Est. Continue to Place Stalingrad.
(4) Cross the shaded square, pass in front of the Fauvette municipal cinema and continue straight on along Avenue Daniel Perdrigé. Cross Avenue des Fauvettes, then turn left onto Avenue de l'Ouest, walking alongside the future Plateau park. At the end, in the bend, take the path on the right, then almost immediately another path on the left that descends towards Sente de la Mare aux Loups. Turn right to join the path. Walk along the park under construction on your right to reach Rue du Bois de Neuilly (you will briefly enter Rosny-sous-Bois).
(5) Turn left to go down towards Neuilly-Plaisance, then left again onto Rue du Bel Air. Turn right into the charming Villa de l'Ermitage. At the end, turn left onto Rue Jean Bachelet, then right onto Rue de la Pelouse. Go down this street to Rue Pierre Brossolette at the bottom. Turn right towards the crossroads at the beginning of Avenue du Maréchal Joffre (border between Rosny-sous-Bois and Neuilly-Plaisance). From this point, you can take a circular route through the new "Parc Nature du Plateau d'Avron" nature park, part of Rosny-sous-Bois, which opened in May 2022. The complete circular route (via the elevated pontoon, wetlands and observation tower) is approximately 2 km long.
(6) Go down Rue de la Marne, then turn right onto Avenue du Maréchal Joffre and then turn into Rue Gaston. At the end, turn left onto Avenue du Chalet, then turn right into Passage Gauthier, which joins Avenue Danielle Casanova between the houses. Turn left and continue to Rue Pasteur. Turn left onto this street to reach the Rond-Point du Chalet.
(7) Take Avenue du Chalet on the right, then Chemin des Promenades on the right until you reach Rue Faidherbe. Turn left and continue to Place Saint-Henri.
(8) Take a look at the church, then retrace your steps to Rue Gambetta and turn left. Go down this street to the end and turn right onto Rue de l'Espérance, then immediately left onto Boulevard Fichot. Continue straight ahead to the wide Boulevard d'Alsace-Lorraine, on the edge of Le Perreux.
(9) Cross this boulevard and take Avenue du 8 Mai 1945, then take the first left, Rue de l'Embarcadère, entering the new neighbourhood on the banks of the Marne. Turn right onto Rue des Bateliers, then left onto Rue des Presles to reach Quai de l'Argonne and the promenade along the Marne.
(10) Return to the RER station by walking along the Marne, via Quai de l'Argonne and Promenade André Devambez. Arrive under the RER bridge (car park) and turn left under the RER bridge to reach the Neuilly-Plaisance RER station, crossing Boulevard Galliéni (S/E).
