Worth a visit

First, you will discover a millstone quarry, some of which are still in place. You can also see the marks they left in the rocks. This site has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. The oppidum is a little further on. Throughout this trail, you will walk among pine trees, some of which are bizarrely twisted, and heather. In summer, you will be accompanied by the song of cicadas.

Tips and suggestions:

- Millstone: evidence of an ancient activity, you can admire unfinished millstones still attached to the rock.
- The Oppidum: Remains of a fortified town from the Celtic period.
- A breathtaking view of Mont Vinaigre and Fréjus.

Very pretty views, especially at Oppidum with its 360° panorama. The climb is difficult for bikes, but that's the only difficulty. Otherwise, there are magnificent trails through pine forests and plenty of peace and quiet. No roads, just tracks and trails.
A very beautiful hike in the Esterel. Followed by a very good restaurant in Bagnols en Fôret, "Les Remèdes de Bacchus".
