Start at the top of Neuville (Route de Saint-André de Corcy) at 545 Chemin de la Vosne, with the roundabout behind you.
(S/E) Take Chemin du Pont des Biches on the left, or catch up with it by passing between the houses via Chemin des Mûriers.
Continue along Chemin du Pont des Biches until you reach the three-way junction, turn right uphill, still on Chemin du Pont des Biches.
(1) At the top, pass to the left of the house, where the stone path begins. Continue a little further up, around a bend, and enjoy the unobstructed view (don't get too close to the edge!). Continue along the path between the fences.
(2) When you reach the remains of a stone tower, continue straight ahead, slightly to the right. Further on, ignore the yellow line that branches off to the right, which would take you to Montanay, and continue straight ahead.
Leave all the paths on your left and descend to the end of the forest on the left.
After passing the stream (which you may not necessarily see), take the path on the left (signposted Franc Lyonnais). There are wooden log steps.
(3) At the bottom, you can turn left into a cul-de-sac where you will see a stone arch.
Continue along the path, which is partly in a stream bed (dry in summer).
Continue straight ahead until you reach a passage over a stream (two wooden planks). Cross over to join the path on the right that runs between two fields.
(4) At the end, turn left and join Avenue du Parc (road from Neuville to Saint-André).
Take the avenue to the left (towards Neuville). Follow it on the right-hand side for a while, go around a bend to the left and, after about 100 metres, you will see the start of Chemin des Serpents on the right.
(5) Turn right onto this path (don't miss the sign). At the top of the path, turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach the tarmac (near the cemetery).
(6) Go down the street opposite (Avenue Henri Barbusse). At the bottom, turn left to return to the roundabout near the start (S/E).

We enjoyed this route, a lovely little walk, and we liked the horses at the bottom of the valley. We found this route too busy with quad bikes and motocross bikes. While we were walking, my friend jumped, thinking there were hunters.
