This is a short hike, but it will give you a magnificent view of the Coiron plateau and the entire Alpine range, from Ventoux to Mont Blanc on a clear day.
The summit of Charray Mountain from Veyras
Starting from Pierre Plantée, this beautiful route offers magnificent panoramic views of Coiron, the Ouvèze and Mézayon valleys, Baronnies and Vercors. An interesting discovery is the site of the former Priory of Charray.
Please note that some sections of the balcony trail may be uncomfortable for those prone to vertigo.

A lovely family walk along well-marked paths. Facilities for a lunch break along the route. Suitable even in summer as most of the walk takes place in the woods.

The Roc de Gourdon

Saint-Étienne-de-Boulogne - Gourdon circular
This south-facing route offers stunning views across the Tanargue as far as Mont Lozère, passing through the Aubenas basin. It is also a geological discovery trail with information panels placed at regular intervals. After Gourdon, at the top of the tarmac road, the Alpine range stands out on the horizon.Climbing up to the summit platform of the Roc de Gourdon is not the easiest of tasks for everyone, but the 360° view is remarkable.
