Description of the walk

Park in the field just above the Greytus cemetery, below the chapel. Enough space for a maximum of two cars.

(S/E) Head up towards the chapel, following the sign for Rocher d’Ajoux (3.7 km) at the ‘Greytus’ signpost. Follow the grassy path up to the top of the plateau (PR® Yellow markings). Pass through an electric gate.
Continue to follow the marked path across the plateau (pass through another electric gate) until you reach the junction with the “Les Côtes” signpost.

(1) Turn left towards Blaizac - la Chabanne. Continue along the path which descends to the small hamlet of Lavastret.

(2) Cross the D36. Take the hairpin bend, continue straight on along the road and pass in front of the town hall. 20m further on, turn right onto the tarmac road which turns into a small track. Pass to the right of the cemetery.

(3) Go through the gate (PR® yellow markings) and continue along the path through the chestnut grove. Continue straight on until you reach the junction with the “La Chabanne” signpost (yellow and white markings).

(4) Turn left towards Ajoux - Pierres de Faux (4.1 km). Continue along thisPR®-marked path, which climbs up to the junction with the D361.

(5) Turn right onto this road towards Greytus (wooden sign) until you reach the cemetery (S/E).

A pleasant little walk with some nice views. Strangely, we lost our way after the cemetery, even though all we had to do was follow the path. The last few kilometres were a gentle climb.

Thanks, GALàpias
In any case, I think that when you go hiking, you should always be well equipped. You never know what difficulties you might encounter on the trails. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
