Drive to the car park at Pointe de la Grande Vigie.
(S/E) From the car park, cross the small square where there is a carbet (open-air hut) in which a vendor of local produce is sometimes to be found. Continue straight ahead along the path on the right, which is open to the sky and leads towards the ocean (the path on the left with the information boards will be the return route). Follow this well-marked path, staying firmly on the track and respecting the barriers.
After the first viewpoint, enter the dry forest and leave the return path on your left. Continue to the right until you reach the tip of the headland. Pass between large boulders; you’ll spot the ‘Turtle Rock’ on your left. Carry on until you reach a small clearing.
(1) Stop at the gate as indicated. Take in the various views and turn back. At the junction in the dry forest, carry on straight ahead to the right to return via the other path. Reach the small square by the information boards and make your way back to the car park (S/E).
