Park in the car park at the village cemetery in Alos.
(S/E) From the cemetery car park, head towards the village of Alos and turn right in front of the town hall.
(1) At the three-way junction, near another cemetery, take a small road that climbs to the right (wooden sign a little above), continue climbing. The road gives way to a path that climbs to the D37.
(2) Cross it and follow the path that climbs almost opposite. Follow the yellow markings carefully. The path climbs between two embankments in the forest. Follow it until you reach a small pass, then keep to the path that continues to the right shortly afterwards.
(3) A sign indicates the Pic de la Quère on the right; go through a gate. You will arrive in an open area with a panoramic view of the mountains. Follow the marked trail. You will come to a wide path (sign).
(4) Take it to the right. After a hairpin bend, go through a gate and take the less marked path that climbs towards the summit.
(5) Pic de la Quère. At the summit, there is a small stone circle for shelter from the wind and a view of Mont Valier.
Descend via the same path, go back through the gate to return to the previous point.
(4) Continue straight ahead, following the path that descends towards the Col de l'Artigue until you reach a track after passing through a gate. Take the track on the right towards the pass.
(6) Col de l'Artigue. Intersection of tracks. Take a path completely to the right, which is not very visible at first, towards the Col de Catchaudégué. The path climbs between a hedge and then passes through a mountain pasture.
A little further on, you can make a round trip to the Tuc de la Perdrix. Go through a gate to reach the viewpoint with an information board.
Return and continue left on the path to reach the road,
(8) Climb back up to the Col de Catchaudégué (picnic table). Take the track furthest to the right, towards Cillère. Stay on the main track that climbs into the woods. You will reach a hairpin bend.
(9) Continue straight ahead. Pass a mountain pasture and barns at Plagnol with a view of the Pic de la Quère. Continue a little further.
(10) Leave the main track and take an old track on the right that descends. Pass a hairpin bend and continue for about 200 metres to the next bend.
(11) Follow a path on the right, which is not very visible at first. Follow the yellow markings carefully; the path follows the contours. It then begins to descend along the ridge, ending up on the road in the hamlet of La Cillère, after crossing the Souladet stream.
Keep on this road as it descends.
(12) Now cross the Ruisseau d'Alos at the Campagne bridge. Take the road on the left. At the cemetery intersection, take the road that climbs back up to the car park where you started (A/D).
