From Argelès-Gazost, follow the Val d’Azun road (D918) towards the Aubisque until you reach Aucun.
At Aucun, turn right and follow the D918 up to the large car park at the Col de Couraduque.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards the restaurant and, after passing the buildings, you will reach the Col de Couraduque crossroads.
(1) Turn 90° to the left, then take the track that climbs westwards through the forest.
Follow this track to the Col de la Serre.
(2) Take the track branching off to the left (south-west, signposted).
After about fifty metres, stay on the track to the left.
(3) At the fork, stay on the track to the left again, then follow it uphill, ignoring the junctions, until you reach the Col de Bazès.
(4) Pass the barrier and continue along the track, which descends slightly southwards, until you reach the sign for the Col du Soulor, situated on the left in the bend.
This sign also points the way to the Col de Berbeillet.
(5) Leave the track and head up to the left off the beaten track through the mountain pastures to the south-east until you reach the wide Col de Berbeillet.
Head towards the nearby summit bastion as you see fit, heading south-south-east.
Rejoin the path at the base of the outcrop, then make your way to the summit of the Pic de Berbeillet, marked by a cairn.
(6) For the return journey, follow the same route as on the way out until you reach the junction at the Col de Bazès.
(4) To complete the circular route, turn left onto the track.
The track descends gently and passes close to the Marioulète metal hut, then climbs eastwards to reach the Col de la Serre.
(2) From the pass, take the track opposite the crossroads, then follow the outward route in the opposite direction back to the car park (S/E).
