When ascending from Luchon, park in the small car park to the left of the road, just before the marker indicating the Col de Peyresourde.
(S/E) Continue on foot towards the hut, then cross the road carefully to take the track in front of the hut, which is closed off by a green gate. Continue along this wide path, which winds its way up through a forest, until you come to another gate blocking the way.
(1) Go through this gate to reach a crossroads of paths: take the one heading uphill to the right. Walk alongside a fence above a tree plantation before turning left to reach the summit of Lampet.
(2) Continue almost due north to the next summit, Pic Arrouy, following the ridge which descends quite steeply before climbing sharply again.
(3) Retrace your steps along the route you took on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).
