Start with a game of the goose, followed by a lovely climb amongst the rocks, culminating in a magnificent viewpoint.
After a game of the Game of the Goose, you’ll set off to explore the Roc de Peyremourou, a former ‘shaking rock’ that toppled over in the early20th century. It was nevertheless listed in 1921 as it remains unique in the Sidobre region.On the way, stop off at the old shepherds’ hut.Not to be missed: the Museum of Protestantism, ‘From the Reformation to Secularism’

This region, between Mazamet and Castres, is extraordinary for its accumulation of granite boulders, left in all directions by nature. The walk is always sheltered from the sun and wind, and there is no tarmac.
I am making an exception to my rule of ignoring the markings left on rocks and trees. This walk is well signposted, but only pay attention to the FFR markings. White and red lines for theGR® and yellow lines elsewhere.
