Park in one of the few spaces near the church.
(S/E) With your back to the church, go up to the left along Rue des Tilleuls, following the yellow cross markings until you reach Rue de la Grotte on your left.
(1) Turn left onto this street and walk up until you reach the D425, Rue du Mont Sainte-Odile (table with benches). At the end of the street, continue along the path marked with red rings until you reach a stream.
(2) Do not cross it, but continue straight ahead, following the same markings: take advantage of the educational information boards on the flora and fauna. You will cometo a bend (table and bench).
(3) Leave the edge of the stream and the markings, turn left at the hairpin bend and head south into the woods. Walk past a hotel on your right with its small wooden houses and arrive at the Club Vosgien shelter, which is quite large, with tables and benches.
(4) Make a detour near the cross to enjoy the view, with a conveniently placed bench. Return to the shelter, then descend the bend to cross the D425 with caution and continue on the Anneau Jaune marked path. After a few dozen metres, go up to the right, then take the path on the right again.
(5) At the end of the valley, the path turns to follow the Breitenbach stream along the road. A few steps lead down to the stream where you can cool off.
(6) Turn right, cross the stream and climb up the path. Take the first path on the left into a slightly wooded area.
(7) At the crossroads, turn right following the yellow ring markings. The path descends andthere are two benches where you can enjoy the view of the valley. Thepath turns and descends again onto the road that runs alongside the stream. You will come to the D425.
(8) Turn left onto this departmental road, follow it and then turn onto Rue des Tilleuls to return to the car park near the church (S/E).
