Description of the walk

Starts from the Cairn Museum car park

(S/E) From the car park, walk up the street following the PR® sign.

(1) At the Y-junction, turn right onto the road leading downhill. Enjoy the lovely view of the sea.

(2) Turn left onto a path marked in yellow and follow theGR® signposts. Stay on theGR® and enjoy the view over Morlaix Bay and the Château du Taureau.
After a muddy stretch (short but challenging), with some grates on the ground, you’ll reach a junction.

(3) Turn left. The path makes a right-angle turn and then joins a dirt track. Take it to the left.
Look out for the cairn on your left.
At the junction with the approach road (Route de Barnénez), turn left to reach the car park (S/E).

Worth a visit

After Pointe de Barnenez, you’ll come across an old wash house and an old fountain (on the left) where, depending on the season, you can spot tadpoles and newts
