Departure from the hamlet of Le Plan. Car park on the left before the bridge.
(S/E) Follow the road that extends from the D132, which crosses the hamlet. Pass a hairpin bend, a wide curve to the left and the bridge over the Ruisseau des Grandes Lanches. Continue for a few metres and, at the entrance to the hamlet of La Crépinière, you will find the start of a path on the left.
(1) Follow this path and, at the track, continue to the left. Pass the house on your right and continue along the path that climbs opposite. After a steady climb through the woods and then across mountain pastures, you will reach a fork.
(2) Ignore the path that continues horizontally and turn left uphill.
(3) At the Tête de Ramadieu plateau, ignore a barely visible path on the right and continue climbing, following the top of the shoulder until you reach the summit of Petit Croisse Baulet.
(4) Continue for about 100 metres along the edge of the ridge until you reach the Roman boundary stone at the start of the descent towards Croisse Baulet.
(5) Retrace your steps to the start of the path on the left.
(4) Follow this path down a steep descent.
(6) At the flat section (bog), ignore the path on the left and continue straight ahead until you reach the Col de Jaillet and the Roman milestone.
(7) Continue along the track that descends to the right, pass below a chalet and reach a fork.
(8) Leave the path that continues horizontally and turn left. Cross a small area of bog, enter the undergrowth and descend along the Torrent du Jaillet on your left. At the edge of the woods, the path continues along the mountainside to a track.
(9) Follow it to the left and you will reach a road.
(10) Continue right on this road until you reach the hamlet of Le Plan (S/E).
