Description of the walk

Start at the town hall square. Parking is available opposite the church.

(S/E) Walk round the church on your left, then head down Rue Henri Barbe to the left.

(1) Turn left onto the footpath at the Gallo-Roman theatre. Continue to the right past the theatre, then further on, take the path on the right. Then turn left, cross the intergenerational garden and arrive at the D7.

(2) Cross with care, go through the car park below and take the path running alongside the citadel ruins.

(3) The path leads onto the Montsûrs road. Turn right and take the first road on your left towards Le Mur. Continue straight on until you reach the D7. Take care when crossing the road.

(4) At the corner by the cemetery, turn right, then at the second corner, cross the archaeological site to see the temple. Leave the temple on your left and head out onto the road.

(5) Turn left and continue straight on until you reach a place called Le Mortier. There, take the sunken path on your right towards La Farcière (the second path on the right).

(6) At the end of the path, take the greenway running alongside the D129 on your left. Further on, turn left to discover the charming Chapelle de Doucé, restored by a team of enthusiasts.

(7) After your visit, turn back to the Farcière junction.

(6) Continue straight on along the D-road towards Jublains. Don’t forget to visit the thermal baths beneath the church (S/E).
