A very interesting tour to discover Île aux Dames and the cultural riches of Mantes-la-Jolie.
We had to cut the walk short for personal reasons, but we thoroughly enjoyed the town centre, not to mention the collegiate church and the Hôtel Dieu museum

An interesting discovery of the historical heritage of Mantes la Jolie, which is a very pretty town. Return trip along the well-developed banks of the Seine.

You could call it a cultural event! I’ve lived in the area since 1992 and I wanted to show a different side to this town, which is known for its ‘dark side’… in the media!

Actually, it’s a cultural walk, and we didn’t have time to finish it. We also met some walkers from Mantes who told us about the various historic buildings
A lovely walk that we’ll be doing again next week
