From Noiraigue, drive up to Ferme Robert and park in the large car park on the right before the farm.
(S/E) Continue at the end of the car park in the same direction, climbing towards the Œillons farm to the north-west.
(1) Turn left and climb the Chemin des Quatorze Contours, which winds its way up to the plateau.
(2) You will come out onto the plateau. On your left, you will see the huge cirque and its impressive cliffs. In front of you is the Soliat plateau with its gentle slopes. Continue southwards, along the edge of the plateau. Be careful, as the path runs along the edge of the drop but is wide enough for those who are not afraid of heights. A dry stone wall runs alongside the path on the meadow side. You can cross to the other side of this wall if you want to feel safer, but be careful of any livestock.
(3) Leave the path at the edge for a moment to reach the Soliat on the right, the highest point of the walk (1,464 metres).
(4) At Soliat, enjoy the beautiful panorama, the view of Lake Neuchâtel and, in good weather, the impressive view of the Alps. Then descend north-east towards the cirque and rejoin the path along the edge of the cliff.
(5) At this fork, take the winding path on the left that descends into the forest at the edge of the cirque. During the descent, there are a few openings that allow you to see the cliffs from below, which are perhaps even more impressive.
(6) Cross a track. The path then heads north-east.
Continue to Ferme Robert and the car park (S/E).
This loop can be done in the opposite direction with the same interest.
