Entre Palsou et Dordogne
This walk will take you through a pretty village, its lively centre with shops, the old wine press, the fountain-wash house, the church... You’ll leave the village for a circular route offering varied scenery, from the banks of the “River of Hope” towards the hills of the hamlets of Laborie and Chapou; a gentle descent will bring you back to the Palsou and the Bétaille plain. We’ll follow the old water channel that once fed a watermill; we’ll cross our beloved Palsou once more near the school to return to the village...
The Bétaille plain
This walk will take you through a pretty village, its lively centre with shops, the old wine press, the fountain-wash house, etc. We’ll leave the village for a circular walk through the Bétaille plain and its walnut groves, as well as the banks of the River Espérance, the Ragou! We’ll rejoin the Palsou to follow its most scenic stretch, then take the old irrigation canal to the watermill before returning to the village.

Gorges de la Cère, from Laval-de-Cère to Laroquebrou
A pleasant but very long hike in the heart of nature, far from civilisation. 1,000 m of elevation gain. The Gorges de la Cère are very wild and steep-sided. They are only accessible on foot or by train. The hike is almost entirely in the shade and, as a result, the trees often hide the view. Best attempted in spring or autumn?
