Short walk south of Prahecq

Park on Allée du Champ de Foire in Prahecq (if there are no spaces available, you can park in the square in front of the church).

(S/E) With your back to the church, turn right and at the stop sign, turn left towards Mougon. At the roundabout, turn right down Rue de la Gacheterie. When you reach the fountain, turn left and continue along Rue de la Gacheterie. Keep going straight ahead.

(1) Turn onto the path on the right, then turn left at the Y-junction. Stay on this long path.

(2) At the bend, turn left onto the path towards the high-voltage electricity pylon. At the next crossroads, turn left and continue.

(3) At the end of the hedge of trees on your right, take the grassy path on the right (it may not look like it, but it is indeed a grassy path and not a field entrance) and continue along the small wood on your left and the fields on your right. Continue following the path until you reach the road (D124). Turn left onto this road and continue very carefully for 200 metres (be careful, as this is a busy road and vehicles drive fast).

(4) Cross the road very carefully and take the grassy entrance on the right, which is located in the hedge (again, this is not a field entrance but the entrance to a grassy path). Continue along this grassy path through the fields.

(5) At the crossroads of white paths, turn left and continue to the road (D124), which you should cross carefully to continue straight ahead on the white path opposite. At the next T-junction, turn right and return to the initial fork in the circular route.

(1) Continue straight ahead, in the opposite direction to the outward journey, and return to the car park (S/E).
