(S) At Olliergues, take the Pavé hill and continue to the D37. Turn right and follow it to Chantelause.
(1) At the Fork in the road, turn right, continue to Repote (water intake) and cross the footbridge over the Ruisseau de Gérize.
(2) Take the path on the right which climbs. Keep going straight on at every junction until you reach La Cartade Basse.
(3) Take the path on the left which climbs towards Fougère. Cross the small road and continue straight ahead to reach the hamlet (note the chestnut tree planted in 1390, 200m before Fougère). In the hamlet, turn right towards Le Bouchet; keep right at the Fork in the road before the first houses and continue to the junction (marked by a cross).
(4) Carry on straight ahead along the small road leading down towards Marat. Pass the cemetery and reach the crossroads by the church. Turn left onto the D40 for 350m to reach the track that climbs up to La Badoche.
(5) Turn left onto it, turn left again at the next Fork in the road, then carry on straight ahead to reach the hamlet. Cross La Badoche and continue to the D97. First turn left then right onto the road (take care) and arrive at the hamlet of Saint-James.
(6) On leaving the hamlet, take the path on the left. Once you reach the road, turn right and carry on to the Croix du Poux crossroads. Head straight ahead and keep left at the next Fork in the road to reach Bauchaud.
(7) Turn left onto the tarmac road, which becomes a track. Head generally north then north-west, ignoring the paths on either side, until you reach a junction.
(8) Carry on to the left, pass Les Fournets and cross the D97a (take care). Head straight ahead, cross the Gérize stream and reach La Planche de Fradas, an old mill.
(9) At the next junction, turn left, pass Chamble and reach the D66 at the cemetery. Turn left, then immediately right, and keep to the right to go round the village of Brugeron. Then head towards Grun de Batailler and arrive at the large crossroads (500m).
(10) Turn right onto the road, then immediately left. Pass the sewage treatment works, cross the Ruisseau de la Faye over the bridge (Moulin du Bègue, waterfall) and continue straight on to the hamlet of La Gilbertie.
(11) At the entrance to the hamlet, turn left and keep left to follow a path heading north. Turn right at the Fork in the road and continue to the hamlet of Le Clef.
(12) At the road, turn left to reach the Croix de Sainte-Agathe.
(13) Take the D41 on the left, then, at the junction with the road leading to Le Verdier, take the track on the left which joins the D41 at a place called Rochefolle. Follow the road to the left for about 250 metres, then turn right to reach La Renaudie (E).
