Park in the car park at the bottom of Morlaix station, on the quays (Place Edmond Puyo).
(S/E) The first graffiti tag is behind a building on the other side of the road. Then retrace your steps and cross the river via the footbridge opposite the Tempo. Follow the Quai de Tréguier to the Charles de Gaulle roundabout.
(1) Walk a few metres up Avenue de la République to see a graffiti piece in a square a little further up, then head back down and walk along Place du Général de Gaulle to the town hall, passing under the viaduct. Walk round the square and the block, then head back, turning right, towards the small street leading up to Rue au Fil. Continue along Rue au Fil to the museum, then head down towards the canal and follow it to the Morvan Brothers’ mural.
(2) Head back towards the canal and cross over to the roundabout; cross a square and keep slightly to the right opposite Rue des Bouchers, then take the first left to reach Rue Dausmesnil and its ‘Fisherman’ sculpture a little further up.
(3) Retrace your steps and head towards Rue du Château via Rue des Brebis. This will take you to the Collège du Château (take a look at the gable). Cross the square, taking in the view, to reach Rue des Vieilles Murailles, and continue up the steps to Rue du Mur. Don’t miss the “Bretonne” at the bottom. Turn left to reach Rue de Brest.
(4) Turn left straight away onto Rue de l’Hospice to reach the Rialto and its film-themed mural. Retrace your steps and head back along Rue de Brest as far as the Jaguar (5), making sure not to miss the Morlaix Futuriste.
(5) Walk back to the steps, go up them, and take Rue Léon Gambetta downhill towards Les Grues. Take these steps, and follow Rue Longue uphill (it’s a steep climb!). Turn right at the top, before taking the steps on the right to reach Rue du Général Le Flo. Pop into the abandoned school on the right, then continue to the end of Rue Armand Rousseau on the left, before heading back towards the Notre-Dame de Anges Chapel to enjoy the surroundings and the view.
(6) Head downhill to finish at the Venelle de la Roch, which passes under the viaduct. Turn left at the bottom to return to the car park, walking past the Place du Général de Gaulle once more, then along the quays, whilst making sure to stop off briefly at the former tobacco factory (S/E).
