Park in the centre of Bezinghem, at the town hall car park for example.
(S/E) Take Rue du Fay and walk up to the stadium.
(1) After the stadium, take the path to the left of Rue du Fay. Follow the path, which is markedPR® in yellow, until you approach the D 127E3 road.
(2) Before reaching this road, take the path downhill to the left.
You will soon reach the D 127E3. Follow it until you reach the path on the left of Mont des Merveilles at the crossroads in the hamlet of La Folie.
(3) Leave the D 127E3 and turn right onto the path between Mont des Merveilles and La Carnoge. You will reach a tarmac road leading to the D127.
(4) Cross it and follow the road almost opposite. At the end of a short straight stretch, take thePR® in line with the road. Reach a farm, leave it on your left, to join the D127E4.
(5) Take this road on the left and at the first fork, follow the road on the right, which turns into a path. Here, join the path shared bythe GR®127Aand theGRP® du Haut Pays d'Artois.
(6) Take this path on the left and follow the red and white markings. You will soon reach the D127, the main street of Doudeauville. After the church, turn left onto the D127E2 and go around the cemetery.
(7) After a first right-angle turn to the right, this road follows a long straight line before approaching a left-hand turn.
(8) Here, the path becomes a tarmac road again, leading to the Caumont farm.
(9) Before reaching the farm, take the path that runs alongside the road and goes around the farm on the right. After the Caumont farm, the path begins a straight descent to a T-junction.
(10) Leave theGR® here and turn left onto the yellow-markedPR®, walking alongside a campsite on your right. The path leads straight to Rue de Montreuil in Bezinghem.
At the end of the street, turn right onto the street that leads back to the car park at the start, in the centre of Bezinghem (S/E).
The initial climb was a bit monotonous as I made my way to the first path crossing the fields (harvested wheat and standing maize). In fact, the main attraction of the hike lies in the higher ground and along these long paths through the Haut-Pays d’Artois, in complete solitude (on a Saturday 1 August). I’m used to filming wildlife whenever I’m lucky enough to come across it, and that was certainly the case during the first third of the walk, where I spotted a doe and her two very curious fawns 
. I should point out that I undertook this walk alone and in silence. The rest of the walk was thoroughly rural, winding through fields and copses, followed by a stroll through Doudeauville (where there were benches for a snack) and a visit to the garden at the Maison des Champs. All in all, an easy walk, perfect for lovers of flora and fauna.
