From Roses, take the road to Montjoi and park in the Falconera viewpoint car park on the right: seven to eight spaces available.
No signposts
(S/E) Take the return road in the opposite direction, keeping to the left-hand side and the stony sections. You will come to a dirt car park that is now fenced off and closed to parking (small wooden hut).
(1) Cross the fence via the pedestrian crossing, head towards the back of the car park, then cross a second fence, this time an electric one, making sure to close it properly behind you. Continue along the uphill path, turn left towards a large green cistern, then turn right onto the path that climbs steeply and leads to a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of Cala Montjoi and Cap de Norfeu.
(2) Continue until you quickly reach a double-track trail just before Puig del Gall, a small rocky peak that hides the view of Roses Bay. Keep going in the same direction and follow this trail, which further on becomes a ridge offering beautiful views of the Catalan Pyrenees and the Emporda plain. Keep left at the faint three-way junction in the path and reach the Col d'en Fràguem crossroads, marked by a signpost and a cement marker bearing the inscription "Torre del Sastre".

(3) Turn right and, after about 20 metres, at a fork, turn right again: the markings on the ground are not very easy to spot. Then begin a long descent where several steep, even very steep, passages require caution, especially as the stony ground can be quite treacherous. Reach the bottom of the valley and follow the signpost towards Cala Montjoi to come out onto the wide, flat track leading to the beach of the place in question.
(4) Continue to the right and arrive at Montjoi at a small car park opposite the holiday centre. Go straight ahead towards the beach, which is 150 m away. Once you reach it (signpost), turn right and join the Cami de Ronda.

(5) Take the well-marked and secure path that closely follows the contours of the rugged coastline with a series of ascents and descents where the numerous stone steps are hard on the legs.
(6) Pass Cala Rostella, then Cap Blanc, to reach Cala Mutra.
(7) Leave the path on the right that leads back to the road to Montjoi and turn left at the double signpost. Pass Cala del Lledò, which is more difficult to access than the previous coves, and come out onto a much wider path at a viewpoint. Continue straight ahead until you reach the next signpost, which is located in a small, shaded area.
(8) Turn left and follow the path, alternating between stone steps and stony sections, to reach the Punta Falconera platform. Enjoy the view of Roses Bay with, straight ahead and to the left, the cliffs of the Montgri Natural Park, the Medes Islands and, in the distance, Cap de Begur.
(9) Continue along the Cami de Ronda to reach the first houses of Roses.

(10) Turn right onto the wide track that climbs diagonally upwards to a large wooded esplanade offering another viewpoint.
(11) Continue left, crossing the barrier prohibiting motor vehicles, and continue climbing, first steeply, then more gently, following three wide hairpin bends. Cross another barrier and reach the car park.
(S/E) Follow the path leading to the Falconera viewpoint, where an orientation table allows you to identify the natural and built-up areas of the Bay of Roses.
(12) Turn back towards the car park (S/E).
