Drive to Cadaquès and park in the main car park (not free) at the entrance to the town. Free parking is available in adjacent streets, depending on the season.
(S/E) Back to the car park, go straight ahead on Riera de Sant Vicenç, leaving the first street on the left and reaching a crossroads. Turn right onto Carrer de la Unió, which becomes Carrer del Vigilant and ends up facing the beach in the heart of Cadaquès, with a large white building (Casino) on your right.
Red and White GR®92 + Yellow markings
(1) Turn right onto Riba Nemesi Llorens, which runs along the coast towards Rosès per la Costa. Pass a small beach and continue along Riba Pitxot, pass under a porch and continue along Carrer del Doctor Bartomeus.
Pass another small beach and follow the street, which climbs slightly away from the coast to arrive in front of the entrance to Hotel Rocamar.

(2) Leave the GR® to the right and turn left onto Avinguda Verge del Carme, following the sign Itinerari Far de Cala Nans.
At a crossroads by the beach, turn right onto Carrer Sant Pius V.
Further on, you'll find a stretch of concrete that bends left into Carrer des Quers and meets a hairpin bend.
Leave the dead-end signposted street on your left and continue for a few metres to reach a new crossroads.
Leave the right-hand path and turn left, following the signs for Cami de Ronda onto Cami de Cala Nans.
Walk up the concrete path, which becomes a dirt track as you reach the heights. Enjoy the views over Cadaquès and the dry-stone remains all around the path.
Continue along the path, which bends to the right, with your back to the sea, to skirt a combe and reach a crossroads.
(3) Leave the right-hand path and continue left for about 300 m to reach a sort of small pass (high stele on the right).
Continue straight ahead on a smaller path leading down to the lighthouse.
Passing over the beach, the first small path descends to the left, allowing you to descend (optional). Continuing along the path, a second path on the left again takes you down to the water's edge (optional and very steep at the end).
Continue along the main path to the Cala Nans lighthouse.
(4) Turn around and follow the path to the right to reach a jetty on the water's edge. Return to the path and turn right to retrace your steps back to the original beach.
Unmarked
At the start of this beach, look for the Plaza del Doctor Tremols with its four trees on the left. Turn left just after the Els Pescadors restaurant, following the signs for Església - Casc Antic. Climb the nine steps and pass under archways to reach a crossroads.
Turn left into Carrer del Doctor Callis. At the next crossroads, turn right up Carrer Curós, a typical street with bougainvilleas, which leads up to the Eglésia Santa Maria on the left and its forecourt.
(5) With the church on your left, turn right into Carrer de l'Eglésia. Leave Carrer d'es Call to the right and the next two streets to the left. Go right down Carrer Bellaire and turn left into a passageway that joins Carrer de la Unió.
(E) Turn left and follow the same route as before to reach the car park (S/E).
Lovely little walk with a splendid view of Cadaques!
