(S/E) From Meyrals, near the school, take the road towards Chaniot.
(1) At the intersection, turn right. Pass a small shed and continue to the next intersection. Turn right and head uphill towards a place called Le Calpre. You will see your first dry stone hut near the house. Continue along this path until you reach the first intersection.
(2) Continue straight ahead. The road descends and is a little stony. Go through the woods and you will come to an intersection.
(3) Turn left onto a white stone path (straight ahead you will reach the Faurie loop).
Follow this road and keep your eyes peeled: you will see two dry stone huts on your right, then shelters carved into the rock (you are getting closer to Les Eyzies).
(4) Shortly before the Saint Raphaël intersection, turn right and leave the main road. On your left, you will see the abandoned Saint Raphaël chapel on a rocky outcrop in the middle of the woods: it is beautiful! Take the path along a small stream until you reach a stele.
(5) Take the road on the left to reach Meyrals (you can also turn right and continue on the marked path). You will arrive on the heights of Meyrals above the hamlet of Lescarpedie.
(6) Continue along the road to reach Chaniot.
(1) Take the same route back to finally arrive at the starting point (S/E).
