Harelle marshes and peat bogs

Parking and departure point: small car park at Chapelle du Bout du Vent.

(S/E) Facing the Seine, with the Chapelle du Bout du Vent on your right, turn left onto Quai Edouard Salmon, taking care with the traffic, which is light but travels quite fast, until you reach the Cale de Bac, Passage de Yainville.

(1) Turn right onto the road that runs alongside the river, just after the Cale de Bac, Quai Charles Guerin. Walk 1,390 metres to reach the third turning on the left.

(2) Turn left onto Rue du Passage du Trait and continue to the T-junction with Route de la Mailleraye. Turn right and walk for about 150 metres until you reach the first turning on the left.

(3) Turn left onto Chemin de Lavieux, go straight ahead until you reach the T-junction and take the path on the left. Walk for about 2,540 metres, with the marsh and the Tourbière de la Harelle on your left, ignoring a turn-off on the left. Turn left onto the path that follows and walk for about 780 metres to reach the tarmac road.

(4) Take Rue de la Charretière on the left. Ignore a road on the right and turn right onto the next road, Route des Tourbières. Continue to the T-junction, take the street on the left in front of the cemetery, and continue to the pedestrian crossing. Cross the road carefully and take the street directly opposite, Rue de la Chapelle, to reach the car park (S/E).
