For ease of description, the following annotations are used:
Sign R: Yellow sign with hiker pictogram.
Sign No. 31: Yellow multi-directional sign with green sticker No. 31.
The start of this hike is at the Hôtel Petit Kohlberg (Haut Rhin).
French signposting: Yellow triangle.
(S) From the Hôtel Petit Kohlberg, pass the car park and follow the road north until you reach a junction just before a hedge.
French signposting: Yellow signpost.
(1) Turn left and follow the signs for Les Ébourbettes. Cross the D432 and go around the Verreries farm. At the end of the field, look for a path on the right, marked by a blue triangle on a tree.
(2) Turn right and follow the field to a crossroads.
French signposting: Yellow Triangle.
(3) Turn left towards Les Ébourbettes. Continue to the farm of the same name, then turn left towards the oratory.
Swiss signposting: R sign or sign No. 31 and French signposting: red diamond.
(4) Rejoin path No. 31 just behind the oratory, which gradually widens. Continue to an intersection with a trail that branches off to the left and is marked by a sign pointing to the right.
(5) Leave the track and turn right. After a short climb, rejoin the border path. Walk to Roc au Corbeau along this beautiful path marked by numerous boundary stones.
(6) Begin the descent, staying on the border path until you reach a junction marked by a signpost.

(7) Continue the descent to a crossroads.
(8) Follow sign No. 31 westwards towards the entrance to the village of Miécourt.
(9) Cross the departmental road and take the path directly opposite. You will soon see sign No. 31 at the first houses.
(10) Follow the path called Sur l'Ergau, which curves 90°. At the first intersection, turn left towards Bellevue, as indicated by a sign for R. Continue until you reach a fork with a sign for No. 31.
(11) Continue along the path, alternating between woodland and open ground. Approach the village of Vendlincourt after crossing the Bois de Corchevez.
(12) Turn left and take the bridle path until you cross the Courtavons road.
(13) Head west, cross the railway line, turn right onto the Route d'Alle and continue to the next signpost No. 31.
(14) Leave the road and take the path at the edge of the woods overlooking the village of Vendlincourt. Follow the various R signs through the Bois Juré until you reach another sign for No. 31.
(15) Take the track on the right and join a small road. Follow it south for about 100 metres and look for a sign on the right.
(16) Leave the road and take the path on the right. Follow this pleasant, shaded path until you come to a small road.
(17) Follow the road for a few metres and then take the path almost opposite, as indicated by a sign pointing to the right. Heading south-west, you will reach the start of a woodcarving trail.
(18) At the first sculpture, leave the track, turn left and follow the path that winds its way past various reproductions of animals carved in wood. You will come to a small road at the end of this open-air exhibition.
(19) Turn right and descend to the entrance to the town of Porrentruy.
(20) Turn right towards the station. Take the underpass.
(21) Turn left towards the historic town. Continue to the second roundabout. Turn right onto Faubourg Saint-Germain and follow Rue du 23 Juin. Cross Grand-Rue, then turn right into Cour aux Moines towards the Hôtel du Lion d'Or, where you can stay the night (E).
