Parking is available at the car park near the Notre-Dame Chapel, accessible from the French side via the D21B3.
Yellow diamond markings.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn left towards the Swiss side. Pass the old abbey on your right, arrive at the border sign and descend to the left towards the vegetable gardens, then turn right to reach the waterfall at the overflow of the pond.
(1) Leave the return path on your left, go up the steps to the right of the waterfall and take the path on the left along the edge of the pond. Follow this path, which first runs alongside the pond and then the river, the Lucelle.
(2) At the end of the path, climb up to the left to the stone path (signpost) and take it to the left. Continue climbing and ignore the path coming from the left, then leave the forest for a short while (view of Les Ordons).
(3) Enter the forest again and continue along this path, heading east for about 500 metres until you find the start of a path on your right.
(4) Take this steep path on the right. After about 30 m, you will find the Rocher de la Dame de Mai. Return to the path and continue to the next crossroads with a signpost.
(5) Take the path on the far left, which climbs gently to reach the pastures. Take the hiking trail and continue through the forest along the ridge path until you reach the Pleigne plateau.
(6) Follow the edge of the forest on the left until you reach the path that leaves the forest and continues through the meadows. The path is lined with oak, yew and other trees. You will arrive at a T-junction.
(7) Take the path on the left, go around the Courtine farm on the left and continue along the path, ignoring the paths on the left and right, until you reach the entrance to the forest.
(8) Climb towards the forest chalet (tables and benches) and continue along this path until you reach a Y-junction. Take the right-hand branch which descends towards Lucelle and arrives at the overflow of the pond.
(1) Go back up the path through the vegetable garden to return to the road and the car park (S/E).
