Park in Lucelle in the car park of the Relais de l'Abbaye restaurant. Note the mural in front of the restaurant entrance, which gives an idea of what Lucelle was like before the Revolution.
(S/E) Take the road (south-west) between the family house, formerly the servants' quarters, and the inn, the former barn of the abbey.
(1) After the chapel, turn left to walk along the Étang de Lucelle lake.
(2) When you reach two buildings and a bridge, continue straight ahead towards the caves.
(3) 150 metres further on, turn left up towards the caves via a signposted path. Continue along the path, which curves sharply to the right and descends to quickly rejoin the lower path.
(3) Return to Lucelle via the path you took on the way there until you reach the bridge.
(2) Turn left and continue around the pond, following route no. 463, which takes a long wooden footbridge on the right.
(4) When you reach the road, turn left and then, a few metres further on, turn right towards Les Ebourbettes. At the next crossroads, continue to the right to stay on the same route. You will be overlooking the site of the old abbey.
(5) Ignore the road on the right and climb up to a small cemetery along the surrounding wall.
(6) Continue left towards the Scholis farm (yellow rectangle). When you reach the main road, at the town hall, cross over and take the path slightly to the left marked with a yellow rectangle. After a good hundred metres, turn right at the hairpin bend and follow the marked footpath which crosses a meadow and overlooks the road.
(7) When you reach the road, make a quick first turn left then right to take the path that climbs towards Les Ebourbettes (yellow rectangle). Take the stairs, cross a meadow and stay on the marked path that follows the border into the forest.
(8) When you reach the highest point (735m), turn right (yellow triangle) towards the Neuhof farm. When you reach the road, go up to the left and then turn right towards the Bouleaux campsite a hundred metres further on (blue triangle). Pass between the campsite and the farm buildings.
(9) Turn sharply left and carefully follow the marked path (blue triangle) which crosses meadows and enters the forest. At the crossroads, turn right towards Lucelle (yellow triangle).
(10) At the intersection, there are two routes to choose from. Take the one on the right, which stays higher up and runs alongside the meadows to reach the site of the old abbey and the cemetery.
(6) Descend towards Lucelle, between the cemetery and the surrounding wall built in 1726 to mark the boundaries of the monastic enclosure.
(5) Continue on the left, along the road. Go through the Porrentruy gate and descend towards the restaurant. Cross the road to reach the car park (S/E).
