The walk starts at Place de la Foulerie, where there is a large car park near the village hall.
(S/E) Walk along the village hall towards the green space, which you go around on the right until you find a small bridge over the old Troësne stream. Cross the bridge and continue to the end of the path that runs alongside the school orchard. At the end, turn left onto the path that leads to Rue Augustin Auger.
(2) Cross the road carefully and take the pavement on your left. Cross the roundabout and continue straight ahead. The road becomes a path. Continue for about 250 metres.
After the large oak tree at the corner of Bois de la Brosse, take the path on the right that leads to the Bois de la Brosse spring. Enjoy its coolness and fill your water bottles before returning to your route.
(4) Continue on your way towards Vivray. At the end of your path, at the junction with the path leading down from the hamlet,
(5) Stop for a moment to look at the calvary there, then turn left towards Loconville.
(6) After admiring (in spring) the water lilies covering the pond on your right, you will cross over the Marquemont Canal. Continue on to the village of Loconville. Leave the street with the town hall on your right (unless you want to visit the church where Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan were married, whose parents had a manor house in Loconville). When the road bends, take the path that climbs up in front of you to join the D 923.
(7) When you reach the D 923, stay on the left-hand side for about 50 metres, then cross carefully to join the path that climbs through the fields towards the Rebetz golf course. At the end of this path, turn left and walk along the edge of the golf course.
(8) When you reach Chemin de Rebetz, walk along the surrounding wall, where you will find a gate opening onto the front of the château.
(9) Continue along the path to the farm entrance, where you can admire a superb dovecote. Then retrace your steps and take the path (which starts at the foot of a wall on the right) that runs alongside the Rû du Moulinet stream to the Loconville road.
(10) Cross the road carefully, walk a few metres to your left, then immediately turn right onto the path that crosses the grassy area to the grove. At the end of the grove, turn left onto "le chemin des pôtes âgés" (the path of the elderly friends), named after the gardeners who work in the gardens that line it.
(11) At the end of this path, you will cross the footbridge built in 2025 over the Marquemont Canal. Then turn right to return to your car park. (S/E).
