Departure from the car park on Place de Mai or Place de la Mairie.
(S/E) Take Rue du Four on the left, go around the church, turning first right and then left. Turn immediately right (white/redGR®6signpost). After about 50 metres, the path narrows to become a beautiful country lane. Follow theGR® heading south towards the hamlet of Ybourgues. Ignore all turnings on the left and right.
(1) At a reservoir, turn left following the signs to reach this hamlet. At the exit of the hamlet, turn around and go straight back up into the forest (yellow signs), first on a track and then on a small path, up a fairly steep but steady climb.
(2) Turn left, still following the yellow markings. The path flattens out until you reach a small cairn at the edge of a track that climbs to the right.
(3) Take the track that climbs to the right. At the next fork, continue on the track to the right; this is the highest point of the hike. Keep following the track heading northeast (yellow markings) which descends to the beautiful dry stone sheepfold at Tècle.
(4) Continue along the track that climbs slightly and admire the beautiful view of the valley and Lac de la Laye. Turn right at the fork and continue straight ahead until you reach the junction at 594 metres.
(5) Turn left, join Limans and the car park at the start (S/E).
