Description of the walk

Park in the car-share car park beside the D950 at Rocher d’Ongles.

(S/E) Take the road towards Banon. Please be careful, as this road can be busy and cars often drive fast. Pass the market garden and continue until you reach the house on the left.

(1) At the house, take the path on the left. The path runs alongside a field and then climbs up the hill.
You’ll then pass some horse paddocks on your left before heading straight into the woods. Turn right at the next junction and you’ll soon join the yellow-markedPR® trail.

(2) Take this path; when you reach a Y-junction, keep right to quickly join theGRP® trail for the Montagne de Lure.

(3) Turn right onto theGRP® marked in red and yellow. Follow it and cross the D950. Further on, the path becomes a road that passes through the hamlet of Seygne. Then walk alongside a large fenced-off property on the right until you reach the end of the property.

(4) Turn right, following the fence, then continue straight on across the fields to the car park at the Lodge des Granges. Take the D950 road on the left towards the Rocher d’Ongles to return to the starting car park (S/E).
