(S/E) Leave the car park towards the RD13 road, cross the roundabout and continue straight ahead, either on Chemin du Buisson Renard or on the path parallel to it. They quickly join up to pass between the Étang des Landres and the Étang du Grand Coulon (GR®14B / GR®15).

(1) Just after the high-voltage power line, leave the small path that branches off to the right and continue on the main path until you reach a crossroads where there is an unusual lodge/campsite (caravans). Turn 90° to the left

(2) Go through the gate and take the large white road heading south-east until you reach the Étang du Grand Coulon. From the dike, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake.

(3) Continue along the same road until you reach the next observatory and join a track suitable for vehicles, which leads to the road to Châtillon-sur-Broué.

(4) Turn right onto the road and drive carefully along the side of the Vieux Moulin campsite.

(5) Leave the return path on your left and continue straight ahead until you reach the village centre. Go to the half-timbered church, which is open to visitors in summer (when it is open).

(6) After visiting the church, retrace your steps to the first farm track on the right.

(5) Follow the farm track on the right, cross the D13 with caution, and join the cycle path on the dyke of Lac du Der.

(7) Turn left and follow the dyke to Port de Chantecoq (S/E), taking care not to get in the way of cyclists.

During rainy periods, some parts of the hike, particularly near the ponds, can be quite muddy.
