(S/E) Leave the station square via the car park entrance and turn left onto Avenue de la Gare.
(1) At the traffic lights, turn right/left across the D4 and take Boulevard de la Gare. Go under a porch and take thesecond right, Rue d'Orgivaux (yellow sign). Go around Moulin Le Roy on the right and continue up a small lane. Follow Rue d'Orgivaux, which continues as Chemin des Vallées. Stay parallel to the river on your left and ignore the paths branching off to the sides.
(2) At the crossroads, turn right. The tarmac quickly gives way to a path that climbs into a wooded area. Continue straight ahead, ignoring a path on the right, until you reach a small wayside cross.
(3) Cross Rue de Parmain and continue straight ahead on a dirt track between the fields. Enter the woods and you will soon come to a crossroads.
(4) Then turn left and stay on the edge of the road. Further on, enter the woods. Then descend and reach the houses of Verville via the Sente de Parmain.
(5) At the T-junction, turn right and then left into Rue Carnot.
(6) At the end, turn left and stay on the left-hand pavement to take Chemin Sous Cocus, which runs alongside the D151 on your left. Stay on this path and pass several wooden barriers. Cross Rue Léon Bernard, Rue Dorée and Rue du Pont Polet in succession.
(7) At the junction with Avenue Carrouge (wash house on the left), continue straight ahead on Chemin Bescherelle (named after the grammarian Louis Nicolas Bescherelle, who is buried in Valmondois Cemetery). Before crossing Chemin Du Moulin Sous L'Église, note the sculpture garden on the left, as well as the Villa Daumier, a tribute to Honoré Daumier (famous 19th-century painter and caricaturist). Continue along the path.
(8) Cross the Grande Rue and continue along Chemin Sous le Bois Thibault.
(9) Cross Rue de Parmain and continue along a small sandy path leading to the old railway line. At the end, turn left into Rue de la Division Leclerc (note the tracks of the steam tram museum on the right). At the end, turn right onto Rue des Violaines, then right onto Avenue de la Gare. You will find the station car park on your right (S/E).
