Park your vehicle in the village hall car park.
When you leave the car park, take the road on the left, then immediately turn left onto a small uphill path. This leads to a track.
(1). Go up to the left. When you reach a crossroads, go straight ahead, then at the second crossroads,
(2) take the path on the right that climbs gently uphill. This leads to a small road.
(3). Continue straight ahead and enjoy the view of the Roanne plain.
(4) When you reach a fork, take the left-hand hairpin bend towards Cherier. There are signs. Go up the path to Les Roches, where you can enjoy views of Mont Blanc and the Alps on a clear day. Continue to the village of Cherier. Go around the church,
(5) then turn right onto the small road towards the Chapelle de la Salette. Go straight ahead at the crossroads
(6) and then climb the path that leads to it, taking the gate just before a right-hand bend. Take the path that descends through the meadows. It leads to the main road in Cherier.
(7). Turn left for about 50 metres (Stèle) then immediately left at the cross. The path passes in front of a farm. Follow it downhill, passing small log and plank lodges, very "natural", ignoring a path on the left and then on the right. Continue to a water reservoir.
(8) Turn left onto a path heading north towards Goutte Noire, which will take you to a wide path and the fork in the road where you started.
(2) Continue left on the path until you reach the small road "Chemin de Vignes Vaques", which you will take on the left.
(9) Turn right and, after the pylon, don't forget the small path that branches off to the right and leads back to the Salle des Fêtes (S/E).
