If you are travelling by car, park along the railway line. You may see the tourist train passing by.
(S/E) With your back to the railway line, follow the road and enter the village.
(1) When you reach the market halls, continue to the right.
(2) Take a short break at Saint-Pierre Church to discover this Romanesque place of worship, classified as a historic monument.
(3) Continue towards the port (via Rue du Port), where you can admire the marshes and a curious medieval lighthouse.
Take Route des Basses Amarres and, after 100 metres, turn right onto Rue de l'Aide.
(4) Leave Rue de la Corderie on your left. At the end of the tarmac road, continue along a grassy path.
(5) When you reach the road, turn right and after 50 metres, take the path on the left. This is where the 3.5 km Chenal de Téger circular through the marshes begins.
(5) Back at the start of the circular path, take the grassy path again, then Rue de l'Aide, until you reach the junction with Rue de la Corderie, which branches off to the right.
(4) Follow this road, turn left at the next intersection, then right onto Rue du Lavoir, and keep left at the intersection to return to the market halls.
(1) Retrace your steps in the opposite direction to reach the railway line (S/E).
