Park on Place Charles de Gaulle next to the church.
(S/E) Take Rue Carnot, a shopping street, and follow it until you reach the right bank of the Seudre.
(1) Turn right onto Allée de la Taillée Verte until you reach the port of Ribérou. Continue along the Seudre to reach the large crossroads of the Royan-Saintes ring road. Pass under this ring road and continue to a crossroads.
(2) Continue straight ahead to stay on the banks of the Seudre. Pass between the marshes and the Seudre to reach a power line opposite the village of Le Breuil, located on the left bank.
(3) Turn right into the marshes and follow the fence to Route du Fief. Turn right onto this road and continue to the village of Ilatte. Enter the village and continue to Place du Bénitier.
(4) Continue right along Rue des Passeroses, then turn onto Route du Fié. Walk along the right bank of the Ruisseau du Monnard before entering the hamlet of La Lande. Turn right to reach Haute Lande, then the Lande area.
(5) Follow the yellow and blue markings of the Way of St James, which runs alongside the ponds to the ring road bridge you crossed earlier.
(2) Pass under the bridge again and take the white path on the left that runs alongside the expressway to enter Saujon. Turn left onto Route des Écluses, then right to walk alongside the school. Cross Place Richelieu and the fairground, take Rue du Repos then Rue d'Aunis, and you will soon reach the car park at Place Charles de Gaulle (S/E).
