(S/E) Departure in front of the church. Pass in front of the Tourist Office and go up Rue d'Aunis on the left.
Turn right onto Rue du Presbytère for 80 metres and then left onto Rue de la Baratte. Continue to the end and then turn right.
Follow the path on the right and go around the cemetery on your right, then turn left onto the shared path until you reach the old Croix des Bourdons.
(1) Cross the road and follow the path on the right, which runs alongside the Saturne gardens.
(2) At the end of the path, turn right and follow the road. Take thefirst street on the left, Chemin des Gabards. Cross Rue des Myosotis,taking care as it is a busy road. Pass the hamlet of Les Gabards (Le Gabard on the map) and continue in a south-easterly direction.
(3) Turn right onto Route du Chemin des Serres heading west.
(4) Cross Route de Pompierre, taking care with the traffic, and continue straight ahead.
(5) After the Pompierre pumping station, turn left to reach the banks of the Canal de la Seudre, then follow the path on the right alongside the canal.
Back in town, continue in the same direction along Rue du Lavoir.
(6) Turn right onto Rue Carnot and walk up to the church square (S/E).
