Start on the cycle path at the Croix Brault crossroads. Please park on the same side of the road to ensure access to the houses is not blocked.
(S/E) Head north-east for 100 m along the D57.
(1) Cross this road carefully to the right, heading east, and continue for 250 m until you reach the Route des Asphodèles.
(2) Turn left towards the west onto the Voie Verte, which bends to the right and runs alongside the departmental road for about 300 metres until you reach a cross.
(3) Cross the departmental road carefully, heading west. After La Nation, turn left then right and continue to the junction and the next local road.
(4) Carry on straight ahead and join the D772. (Do not follow the Sentier des Asphodèles or the Sentier des Pierres Grises any further).
(5) Cross the departmental road with care and continue to the right onto the Voie Verte, which runs parallel to it for around 1,250 m, until you reach Ribé. Here you rejoin the Circuits des Pierres Grises, which you should follow.
(6) Turn left, heading south, and carry on straight ahead along the farm track, then the footpath. (Pierres Grises route). On your left, you’ll reach the outskirts of Les Houssines.
(7) Turn right through the Landes de la Fleuriais, cross a road and arrive at a crossroads at the 103-metre mark.
(8) Turn left towards the north-east onto the forest track and cross the Landes de la Fleuriais.
(9) Turn left for 90 m, then right towards the north-east along the edge of a woodland, then left towards the north until you reach the small road.
(10) At this point, there is an option for a shortcut (-2 km) (see ‘Practical information’). Otherwise , cross the local road, continue straight ahead heading north, cross the D772 carefully and arrive at the greenway and a junction you passed on the way out.
(4) Turn right and, following the route in the opposite direction to the outward journey, return to the starting point (S/E).
