Park in the Chenalette car park after Valmeinier 1800.
(S/E) Take theGRP® Tour du Mont Thabor trail, marked in yellow and red. You will soon reach the Ordière junction.
(1) Keep left on theGRP® and head uphill to the Losa crossroads, Les Matonnes.
(2) Leave theGRP® here and turn right onto the yellow-marked path. Pass the water intake station, then arrive at the Notre-Dame des Neiges Chapel junction.
(3) Continue straight on, crossing the Ruisseau des Grandes Culées via the footbridge. Reach the junction at the Refuge de Terre Rouge.
(4) Continue uphill, cross the Neuvache via a footbridge and arrive at a junction near the Barmettes chalets.
(5) Turn right towards the lakes. Reach thefirst lake, Curtalés
(6) Walk along its left side and then complete the climb to reach the other two lakes, Rond and Cornu.
(7) Begin the descent along the same route but in the opposite direction to return to the junction at the Terre Rouge Refuge.
(4) Turn left and cross the Ruisseau des Grandes Culées via another footbridge. Continue on to reach the bog on the banks of the Neuvache at Pré Sapey.
(8) Follow the right bank of the Neuvache to reach a crossroads at the Croix de la Portète.
(9) Turn left to climb up to Lac Vert.
(10) Return to the previous junction.
(9) Continue left along theGRP® variant and pass the hamlet of Mathoset to reach the junction at a new footbridge, still over the Neuvache.
(11) Do not cross it, but continue straight ahead to reach the original junction at L’Ordière.
(1) Follow the route taken on the way out in the opposite direction to return to the Chenalette car park (S/E).
