Park in the Calanque car park, at the foot of the municipal campsite and close to the leisure centre and swimming area.
(S/E) Leave the car park as close as possible to the campsite entrance. Facing the lake, immediately turn left onto the path, which is mostly sandy and runs along the upper part of the reservoir (on your right).
(1) At the left corner of the marker post, a path lined with a hedge branches off to the right. Take this path and you will reach the edge of the woods. Further on, a sunken path takes over and leads to a cross path.
(2) Continue by turning left. When you reach a log storage platform, continue straight ahead on the stabilised path. You will soon reach a first crossroads.
(3) Take the path on the left under the trees. This also leads to a stabilised track, which you should follow for about 100 metres. Leave this track and turn right, still on the slightly uphill stabilised path. At the crossroads with a transverse path, turn left and you will come to a crossroads with a road.
(4) Cross carefully and, after a slight right-left turn, take a dirt track. Follow a wooded strip on the left to reach an open area with fields on the left and an aerodrome on the right.
Follow the path through these areas. You will reach a gravel cross-path.
Please note: this is a private road until you reach the D485 road (see Practical Information section).
(5) Turn left, passing in front of the Caillots farm, with its distinctive barn roof. You will reach the D185.
(6) Cross carefully and, after turning left, keep to the right-hand side of the road. At the first path on the right, leave the road and take this path. Continue straight ahead, passing a path on the right and, shortly afterwards, crossing a field, while following a strip of woodland on your right to come out onto a fairly wide path offering a view of the back of the reservoir dam.
(7) Turn right, then immediately left to take the two consecutive footbridges spanning the arms of the Ru du Bourdon. At the end of the last footbridge, turn left and climb up the grassy slope, keeping the spillways on your left. At the top, head towards the barrier on the left of the Maison des Gardes. After passing through it, descend to the road.
(8) Cross this road carefully and turn left onto the dyke, which offers a fairly wide view of the lake. At the end, turn right. Continue along the stabilised track, paying attention to the traffic between the various leisure buildings and the lake. You will come to a sharp bend (path opposite).
(9) Turn left and go up a tarmac road (be careful, one entrance in this bend leads to private property, do not take it). At the top, at the crossroads, turn right, keeping to the right-hand side of the road, and immediately turn into the path flanked, at the very beginning, by a boundary stone in the middle. Continue along this sunken path, leaving the various entrances to the equestrian centre on your left. Ignore the various paths branching off to the left or right. You will reach the old road with access to La Coupure (the separation between the leisure area and the water usage area of the reservoir) on your right.
(10) Go straight ahead and continue along this path lined with oak trees and other shrubs. Pass the restaurants. At the end, turn left and cross the road carefully to reach the car park (S/E).
