Visit the Haut-Bernin on a gentle walk at the foot of the Chartreuse cliff. You can contemplate a cumulative altitude of 9845m which is more than the Everest, with le Mont-Blanc (4806m), le Grand Pic de Belledonne (2977m) and la Dent de Crolles (2062m). You will meet lots of dog walkers and you will walk through forests, vineyards, and pass beehives.

Description of the walk

Easy parking at the end of paved Chemin des Communaux in Bernin.

(S/E) Start by going heading west along the gravel Chemin des Communaux for 1 km. Enjoy the view of Chartreuse and the Dent de Crolles.

(1) Find a little path on the left by the parking area heading southeast. At the cistern, turn slightly to the right to join a large path going down. Enjoy a nice glance on Grand Pic de Belledonne and Mont-Blanc. Keep straight on Chemin du Chteau Nardent.

(2) After appoximately 900m, turn left on a large path Chemin des Petites Eymes and walk back to the starting point (S/E)
