Start from the castle grounds, opposite the castle courtyard (bridge).
Yellow markings, wooden arrow at the start, then standard yellow markings on trees and posts.
(S/E) Head south through the shaded park.
(1) On leaving the woods, exit the park via the narrow passage between two fences. Cross the D20 and continue along Rue de la Martenne, then follow the stony path to the next fork.
(2) Continue straight on, pass three right-angle bends and reach the fourth, which turns left.
(3) Turn right and cross the small bridge over the Étang de Pitoure. You’ll reach a three-way junction just after passing the Étang de Gros Bois on your left.
(4) Turn right and follow the path that runs alongside the pastures and fields. Keep to the right at the junctions and, after crossing the small wood, you will reach a junction near several buildings.
(5) Continue straight on with a view of the Étang Neuf on your right.
(6) At the 90° right-hand bend, leave the road and take the path on the left which leads to Rue de la Villeneuve.
(7) Turn right and continue to the end of the street.
(8) Turn left for a few metres, then turn right onto Rue des Maubards. Continue along Avenue de la Gare to the left and take the path on the right which leads to the château (S/E).
